Wendy and Millie looking for alligators
We have just returned from a visit to our first State Park, one called Lake Louisa, which is just outside Clermont, Florida.
Our trip lasted just 2 night, 3 days, as we had to get back to join in a ‘Walk for Cancer’ initiative we had promised to support.
The Lake Louisa State park has 11 lakes in it and Lake Louisa itself is part of a chain of about 13 lakes, 3 large and several small ones.
On Lake Howard, we watched a young couple with two little girls launch a canoe and had to smile as they warned the girls to watch out for Gators in the undergrowth!
The trip was very enjoyable and the views around the lakes were beautiful, well worth a visit, the only thing we found wrong with this site is that you cannot walk around the lakes easily.
we stood there as well in 2008
